  1. As a foreigner you are allowed to buy a condo (apartment) in Malaysia for a minimum of 500,000 Malaysian Ringgit. That is around £100,000 GBP or $US106,000. Worth a punt in my opinion especially as it is so close to Singapore. There is also talk of an eventual train service to Forest Park via JB - Singapore - KL. With a 20% deposit and an 80% mortgage total risk is £20,000.
