Obviously the day when people actually stood on their own feet and got on with it no longer exists. People whine too much and think the government (taxpayer) owes them a living. According to the media the masses are freezing to death as they cannot afford to heat their homes. Where I live, restaurants and pubs are heaving with customers and Deliveroo and Just Eat cyclists are weaving in and out of traffic in droves. To me it is obvious people are not as poor as they make out.
