  5. Talking of pyramid schemes it reminds me of the UK's government pension. Present employees are paying NI which is funding today's pension payments. Past NI contributions have already been spent propping up the NHS and for social care. As more and more baby boomers retire the pyramid structure will eventually collapse.

  10. I agree everyone is a human being and an individual. However, I disagree that an individual who arrives on a rubber boat with no documentation is allowed to stay in Britain and walk our streets. Most other countries, illegals would be arrested and deported. I do not judge people based on colour but on intention.

  16. No. My advice is to buy now. Property prices go up and down but over time always trend upwards. At the end of the day, property should be bought as a home to live in and raise a family NOT as a vehicle to riches. If you want to get rich, invest 20% of every penny you earn during your working life and not squander money on things you do not need. Cook your own food instead of ordering takeaways.

  35. I started with a humble terrace, some years later moved to a semi, a few years after that moved to a detached, sold and downsized to an apartment on retirement. Paid cash and money in the bank. Anyone can do it but I didn't waste money eating out or ordering takeaways every week or squandering money in a pub.

  39. Sell up and move to Thailand or the Philippines. Rent £250 - £300 per month for a 1 bed condo with gym, sauna swimming pool and tropical gardens. If you have no job to go to set up a website selling other companies products (called affiliate marketing). Every sale YOU earn commission. You might be good at playing the guitar. Then sell guitars. You might be good at ART. Then sell painting canvases, oils, water paints, brushes and so on. Are you a mechanic? Sell oil filters, tyres, car accessories and so on.
