  1. Buffet made his fortune before the US amassed 34 Trillion plus debt, before the formation of BRICS and before China and Russia and others started dumping billions in US treasuries. He also had the luxury of riding the wave of the "baby boomer" investor generation. They are now "cashing" out to fund retirements. In my humble opinion, the only reason the financial markets have not collapsed are the massive inflows of money from "quantitive easing" programmes which in effect made the rich richer and the poor poorer. I can see nothing but problems ahead for western economies and my money will be invested elsewhere.
