  1. What an eloquent speaker. I lived through the 60's and 70's as a youngster in Britain. Back in the day we had community spirit, decent living standards and high streets fit for purpose. The part of Britain I remember as being the same is the English countryside with its peaceful quaint villages. But even these are being blighted by spinning blades of wind turbines. In parts of todays Britain I feel alienated and feel as though I am in a different country. I feel our younger generation are paying the full price for failed policies of both governments, Labour and Conservative.

  2. The sheepish electorate need to take some blame too. The present polls showing Labour well ahead indicate ignorance AND loyalty to a party but NOT the country.
