  1. Having been a single adult for several years prior to being married I can honestly say being single was the best time of my life. Now married for over 40 years it has been a constant energy sapping enterprise. If it was not for the vow I made "until death do we part" I would have left years ago. The one consolation is we have a son who I adore and two wonderful grandsons now in their teens.

  15. This is what happens when you tell president Zelensky it's time to retreat from Bakhmut to save lives of the remaining Ukrainian forces. By retreating, Zelensky knows Western powers will view this as the beginning of the end for Ukraine and in turn, military and financial aid will dry up.

  17. The West, particularly the United States, WANT to prolong the war in Ukraine in the hope the Russians are militarily and economically weakened. The 'exceptional' USA want to weaken any competitor which challenge their hegemony of the world. Anti-Chinese rhetoric from the White House, militarily arming Taiwan and limiting technology to the Chinese is another attempt at weakening another rising superpower. The USA is a financially and morally bankrupt empire and knows its days are numbered and will not go down without a final conflict. We, my friends, are living in a very dangerous period of modern history.

Certain 'democracies' do not even know what the term democracy means. A prime example are the comments made today by the leader of the EU in reference to the "democratic" voting being held in Italy.
