Is to be noted that the allied forces tried to destroy Hungary in this manner after WWII, illegally seizing two thirds of Hungarian territory with its citizens and "distributing" it to other countries like Ukraine, Serbia, and others. It was despicable, and even more because Ukraine suppresses its Hungarians and refuses to let them speak Hungarian, just as they did to Russian speakers in the east.
