Actually Mayorkas doesn't lie about immigration aside from saying the border isn't open; when he says they are effectively managing the border and successfully implementing immigration policies (not laws, mind you), he is telling the truth because the Biden administration is doing exactly what they aim to do on the border, I.e. let everyone in the world in.
