MILITARY TUBE TODAY - FPV drone of Russian Armed Forces greeted a Slovenian-made armored personnel carrier armed with 12.7 mm heavy machine guns, and some modified with 20 mm automatic cannons, carrying a group of military passengers to attack Olgovka in the Kursk region. A video went viral on social media on August 21, 2024, showing a rare BOV wheeled vehicle engulfed in flames after being hit by a drone while driving on an asphalt road in West Olgovka. One of 26 BOV supplied by Slovenia, carrying about eight Ukrainian soldiers plus the commander and driver, had a large burning fragment fall from the vehicle as it drove. Meanwhile, Russian drones documented the destruction process, in which only one lucky soldier managed to escape from the vehicle, which could carry a total of ten people. Judging by the battlefield images, it seems that Kiev’s invasion of the Kursk region, will soon involve all kinds of weapons and equipment showered by the West. But, the BOV vehicle represents one of them, burning almost everywhere along the border since the beginning of this month. Analysts have called the Ukrainian offensive on Kursk the worst military operation of the 21st century in terms of the ratio of results to resources spent. The federal subject is located directly to the west of Russia’s Kursk Region, part of which remains under the control of the Ukrainian army following an incursion earlier this month. According to Bogomaz, the Ukrainian raid was foiled on Wednesday by Russian border guards and regular troops. “The enemy came under fire,” the official said, adding that “the situation is stable and under control.” While the Russian Defense Ministry has not commented on the matter, Telegram news channel Mash reported that the Ukrainians had tried to break through near the village of Zabrama, approximately 30km from Russia’s border with Belarus. From Moscow to Murmansk, Ukrainian drones tried to attack targets in western Russia over the past 24 hours. The first explosions were heard in Podolsk at about 3 am, after which residents of the city heard loud sounds every 15-20 minutes. Unfortunately, all 45 kamikaze drones that tried to attack Russian cities that night were destroyed!
