If not- tax can hike even higher We tax anything that moves- have to edit- we also tax for the dead as they move through last journey- cremation and funerals- then property tax if there is inheritance and possibly incoming death tax

  4.  @Cheesecake99YearsAgo it is crown land as it is written on title- u own what you build on this land- but you pay land taxes to the state- for electricity water connections and infrastructures and rent to the crown ( state) So my state of victoria finds this is easy money- squeeze land owners like lemons The landowners can then claim income loss from the astronmical land taxes from the federal government- end result is rents have to increase to cover this loss So the state government impose a law to limit rent increase and also limit to one increase in 12 months- when the state government is the culprit in any rental increase

  6.  @jeffhedrich3551 already state land taxes are 250% since 2017 and this year - indexed increase in land tax of 15%, and 0.1% on top plus $975 per property- the last two are added in for the next 10 years - on top of the indexed annual increase of beyond inflation rates- Who knows may extend to 20 years or more. Easy way to collect money- instead of actually manufacture an item and selling it
