@if you think that the police are there to keep people scared and down then you should not be paid attention to when you say anything regardless of the topic. The police are there to arrest the people who break laws which unfortunately is an uncomfortably large percentage of people in the Democrat run iner cities. When you reduce police presence and crime goes up the victims of that are the black people in the community who are trying to do the right thing work pay taxes and find a little happiness. Minimum wage minimum effort is a recipe for being a minimum wage worker for life. Almost anybody can work at a cash register the receptionist at an expensive hotel has to be able to deal with lots of different situations and have far greater people skills than someone ringing a cash register. If the hotels could find people with the required skills to work for minimum wage as the receptionist then that's what they would be doing. And here is something that will probably be shocking to you but is a complete fact..... Jobs pay the minimum amount of money required to get people of sufficient capability to do the job. This is true of people bringing cash registers and people making $300,000 a year.

We've been throwing money at education for years and the results just keep getting worse the problem is not money. The problem is teachers unions and Marcus ideas none of which have anything to do with trying to actually educate children to be able to be productive happy adults

@scottgreeff7043 you're not much of a critical thinker are you the stores that are leaving the black neighborhoods specifically because of the danger to their employees and the crime moved into those neighborhoods years ago knowing full well that they were black neighborhoods it's not the color of the population of those neighborhoods that has changed so, has anybody with any analytical thinking skills could tell you that can't be the cause of them leaving.

@garygelthaus the educational system sucks big time and unions for better or worse ossify things in place it makes change almost impossible. Also you're a fool if you think that the teachers unions agenda has anything to do with the good of the children. And nobody is controlling what you can learn in fact you are learning so little that it almost seems like people are intentionally keeping you away from knowledge.
