@kentcontreras4692 I m a chemistry, biology, Finance, Actuarial science person but the thing I know most about is history I did this by, among other things, reading approximately 1,000 works of nonfiction history between the ages of 8 and 66. Same thing with literature although more like hundreds of works not a thousand. This is next to impossible to do with things like physics and chemistry mathematics etc

@DANBAN119 when you earn your college degree you take lots of courses outside of your major and your minor which continues to your general education and goes well past what was covered in high school. You're also going to swim in a sea of people who are on average more intelligent than otherwise. People who do not have college degrees can be remarkably smart and have educated themselves extremely well in things like history and literature, lexagrapy etc. most of my friends are highly educated but a couple of the smartest most knowledgeable people I know have never went to college.

@kentcontreras4692 it sounds like we're very similar in that we are both knowledge junkies. I was a professional student spending 10 years in college and grad school (undergrad chem / biology, Masters in chemistry, Finance oriented MBA and read and read and read and then went into third discipline, Actuarial science, that had nothing to do when I studied in school. Add a bunch more too. My nickname is the answer Man.

@mysticone1798 I've been saying the same thing, don't be silent speak up about this stuff. I'm an OG and I've been saying this for ovy 40 years. They have way too much control over public discourse. And we are way too nice look at the difference in how we treat democratic presidents cabinet nominees verse the character assassination their employing against ours. We believe in Fair Play they believe in power at any cost. The far left is always been that way but they used to represent a much smaller percentage of the democratic party today.

The reduction in social mobility is brought to you by the left Azar almost all negative trends that aren't society. There's nothing neoliberal about Ronald Reagan and the idea that the man who brought us the great economy and a 20 year economic expansion is responsible for a decrease in mobility says to me that you don't understand a freaking thing about economics. Pretend to be smart someplace else

There's all kinds of fake disciplines like this studies and that studies and others that have been completely taken over by the extreme left like sociology and psychology.
