I grew up in the 60s and 70s and in most cases we had no clue what the politics of our teachers were. They have no business bringing any of that into the classroom with them. We don't really have teachers anymore for the most part we have activists pretending to be teachers. The fact that they're basically make pretend teachers might be one of the explanations for why our kids do so terribly compared to virtually every other industrialized countrys

@saltiney8578 that statement may be true now but it definitely does not in any way shape or form describe the adults that I grew up with. We also weren't hiding in our rooms with our phones we were around the adults and therefore absorbed a lot of what they were talking about. Nothing today is normal or healthy
