@user-b1i8u what a dim view of life you have. I don't know about you but the school that I went to taught me how to think and I have real degrees so I didn't go to college to learn how to push papers.

@adamh.4933 it is about doing away with old ideas however that's not how the world works most successful change comes about because things evolve. Throwing away ideas from the past and replacing them with the fever dreams of the faculty lounge does not prove to be very practical

@billysolhurok5542 it didn't used to be like that I spent 10 years in college and grad school and that that entire time I only knew the politics of four of my professors. I very much learned how to think not what to think

We might decide that that would be good policy but it's not all right. And if you're talking about personal liberties the party of personal liberties is the conservative party. @ijclark except that the left now runs the Democratic party and liberalism has been shoved into the background. I grew up in one deep blue State and spent most of my adult lifetime in a second and therefore had many many liberal friends and colleagues even girlfriends and the vast majority of them don't realize how far to the left their party has gone. I always considered liberals to be really nice people with good intentions and bad ideas. With the left the intentions are anything but good.

@OtakuFromMars there used to be nothing wrong with trans people I even knew some trans people but they've gone from people that I was more than willing to tolerate the people that now want to screw with children and recruit. I feel bad for the trans people out there who are not part of this political nonsense but an awful lot of evil is now being done in their name. For example what could be more evil than taking a confused 11 year old who has a case of gender dysmorphia which usually resolves by puberty and getting them life-altering irreversible surgery that it's almost guaranteed to make their life worse. Again I don't have problems with trans people per se I spent most of my adult lifetime in a very Bohemian City for tolerance was pretty pretty high for just about everybody.

@davidgreenwood6029 to be fair all of this trance stuff is a case of classic Mass Hysteria that wasn't even a thing a decade ago. Gender dysmorphia is a relatively common occurrence in younger kids who almost always grow out of it by puberty. You do nothing but harm by making it permanent. And doing this stuff without parents knowledge or consent is pure evil. Who do these people think they are these are not their kids
