@1smallstep I'm so happy that I graduated high school in the mid-70s. It was a fairly good high school and I'm convinced that I came out of high school with knowledge equivalent to today's kids with a high school diploma and an associate's degree.

@DaClaptain I love people giving me lectures about not knowing what's going on when I understood what's going on better than most people since I was about 15. There are just as many stupid people on the Democratic party at the Republican party and there are just as many serious intellectuals. You won't find our intellectuals on college campuses however

@clumbus894 I laughed my ass off when people point to the Three-Fifths thing in the Constitution as if it was an example of racial discrimination. It was actually a compromise that weakened the slave states in terms of number of people in the legislature and electoral votes. The South wanted every slave counted when it came to apportioning representatives and therefore electoral votes. The north wanted none of the slaves counted which would have weakened the power of the slave states on the national stage. In order to form a nation a compromise had to be made. I love people who look at an anti-slavery move by the free stripes and see something racist. Apparently you don't have to be very smart or no very much to express your opinion online

@peterjermey7235 you have no idea what conservatives think. Overwhelming majority of us no gay people and have no problems with gay people. We do have a problem with these small subset of gay people who are legitimately groomers. An awful lot of gay people have the same problem with the groomers

@jamesbrown3239 it's the schools, its most of the news and entertainment media. There are a lot of crappy parents today but even the good ones can be overwhelmed when is wave of outside influences most of them negative. Make educational establishment is completely overstepped their bounds and are nothing but remarks us who are trying to control your children's minds
