@MrCountrycuz it's going to destroy a thousand acres of woodland and they kill birds in the minions. I also like your comical infantile view of "Big oil"

@Prettyfish799 that's the million-dollar question. I can't stand people who complain but vote for the same people over and over. Even worse are the people that flea states that the left is already ruined and then go to new States and vote for the same policies to ruin the state they fled.

@annep.1905 nuclear really is the only large scalable source of energy that we can tap into that doesn't produce emissions. Also they oppose fracking which when you switch from cold and natural gas you drop the greenhouse emissions per kilowatt hour and in half. The problem for them of course is that neither of those solutions, which would work, require a dramatic expansion in the power of the government to tell us where to sit and stand

@CountryAndProud right because when you Google it it's not as if the first 50 things that come up will all be from a left-wing point of view.

@CountryAndProud what you just described is regulatory abuse. Keeping people waiting and chewing up their time unnecessarily ads cost. By the way Chernobyl was an old graphite design reactor that would have been illegal to operate pretty much any place outside the Soviet Union. We treat every nuclear power project and there's precious few, as a one-off project making it ridiculously expensive. When the French were producing 70% of their electricity with nuclear power they would perfect a design and replicate it which is infinitely more cost-effective. Apparently working in a nuclear power plant does not make you an expert on the economics of nuclear power. I'm not suggesting we cut any corners on safety just that we stop blundering ahead in this ridiculous way that we've been proceeding with in nuclear power for decades now.

The only way thankful and prove is that the Republicans take control @jackbelk8527

@holarndius you just described the average leftist hack

@MegaVolcano astute observation.

Yes and I'm sure you know exactly what is necessary @Hairybuffalo

@arleastenberg8739 who's the threat to democracy again please remind me

@MrJoeabela they were trying to stop logging by having ordinary guys trying to work and support their families get killed or injured by their chainsaws when they hit the spikes. Terrorists really
1
@CountryAndProud it could be incredibly cheap a lot of the cost goes into spending years in court and years and years working with regulators.
1
@CountryAndProud what a weak reply. I don't need to have worked in the construction trades to understand the economics of power generation. In fact most people in construction have no idea about the economics of anything let alone nuclear power and that would include you. I humbly apologize for knowing 100 times more about economics than you do

@annep.1905 look I'm against the climate zealots because I think that they don't have any real solutions BUT there is no doubt that the planet is warming. I don't think it's warming as fast as they clean and I don't embrace the left wing radical solutions they have to solve it (which have more to do with Powell and socialism than solving any problem) . The woman can be shown the actual scientific data. What do I know I was only introduced to the concept and its molecular explanation in the spring of 1982 in my analytical chemistry 520 class.

@annep.1905 I don't support the global warming freaks many whom I think are more interested in power and socialism and revolution than they are in solving global warming but and it's a big butt the planet is actually warming, actual scientific data shows this. It's not warming as fast as they claimed as they try to panic people and get them to rush headlong into their big government socialist solutions that enhance their power but it is real. . But what do I know I was only introduced the science behind global warming in the spring semester of 1982 in my analytical chemistry 520 class. Which in case you don't realize is 42 years ago long before the current Hysteria when I was still possible for honest scientists to talk about such things and it had not yet been politicized. Now as in most things with the left there's only one opinion you're allowed to hold.
