@UKGeezer I'm glad that my years on campus were between 1976 and 1986. I learned how to think not what to think. I only knew the Politics of exactly four of my professors that's right four. I didn't even know that math was supposed to be racist!

@Andre_Thomasson not always. And while I and most of my circle of friends and family have degrees at the wazoo four of the smartest and most knowledgeable people I know did not go to college.

@stevendouglas3781 freedom of speech has certain distinct limits. They're pretty much limited to restrictions to speech that would cause imminent harm to others like the child in this instance. An imminent harm does not include hurt feelings

@stevendouglas3781 exceptions to free speech under the First amendment are not based on people's worldview. The only lawful exceptions are speech that poses an imminent harm to others like crying fire in a crowded theater or inciting a riot. You should probably understand this before you post on the subject

@ryananderson5202 when I see some full saying okay Boomer what I always think is what they should be saying okay person with much more education accomplishments and knowledge than me. In all healthy societies at least some difference is shown towards the elderly it's a sign that we live in a sick society and old people are attacked. It's really the actions of losers

@Andre_Thomasson it's been a while since I did any programming. Used to write complex corporate systems (I was in the Actuarial department and besides the fact that systems had a queue that we could not wait for we discovered that it was a lot easier to teach actuaries to program than to teach programmers to be actuaries). But then I got people who took care of that and then I got people who had people that took care of that and with the speed with witch technology changes I became completely dependent on my staff. At that point the company didn't want me spending my time banging the keyboards anyway. Now I'm retired I'm so technologically behind the times it's ridiculous.

@Andre_Thomasson I used to know that I just forgot it. My day is being the guy that wrote the code were over nearly 30 years ago. I was still an analytical guru but I assigned the programming to other people
