  3. Mike was and is dangerous. He has muscle memory and this will play a huge part in this fight. We know Tyson has the power, and if he can bob and weave anywhere close to when he last fought...Jake is in for it, but Jake has improved a lot.

  19. I would have put Max in the main event, keep this card, but eliminate either the Valentina/Grasso or Ortega/Lopes fights. Sean will walk right thru Merab. The only thing Merab has is a gas tank. Same old takedown machine vs the Sniper.

  24. This is a good assessment. He was smoking Izzy with different techniques and got caught. I believe Alex learned a lot during this fight, that if he goes in on a blitz he should bring his hands up and stay inside and not wonder out into boxing range.

  25. Great vid Shaun. Tom is an excellent instructor and I believe if Fury trains with Tom on the ground, he could take Paul. The man is a natural and the mere mention of Jake brought out the G&P instincts. Check out Aspinall's "Dead Leg Challenge," Good vid also.

  28. I see your point Shaun. Many have said that Jake is looking much better recently, and I agree. Tyson has the peek-a-boo elusive head movement and angles, but will he gas? He needs to take Paul out in the early rounds I believe. This will be a tight fight for sure.

  29.  @beverlypatama8148  Every body is different Beverly, and Tyson is no average person or fighter. I know guys training at MMA facilities that are 55 and can last an entire class (that would be one solid hour of sparing full tilt with different partners). Age and endurance has no bearing as runners in their 80's can complete a marathon. Speed is what Tyson needs...and I do believe he has. We shall see.

  38. Shaun, it looks like Cliff is using 16 oz gloves and Jeff 12's. They are both wearing pretty good size shin guards, and I know from experience in sparring that shin guards take a lot off the impact. Jeff is a little nuts in that he loves to take the abuse. Good spar.

  43. Shaun, I know Alex is training with Texiera, so his striking is much improved...especially that left hook, which John Hackleman focus's on. This fight, I believe that Alex will attack the legs and bait Khalil into a solid left to KO the dude early.

  45. As an ortho physical therapist, I can say you are correct Shaun, but the limiting factor secondary to a labrum tear of the hip is PAIN. The labrum in the hip lines the acetabulum and has many nerves innervating it, which are affected each time the head of the femur moves or rotates. This is VERY significant in developing torque in the leg. You will experience pain each time you move in any direction. This is why Sean appeared flat, he couldn't get off sharply. These injuries do take about 6 months to heal. Thanks for this vid my friend.

  47. First, what a great outdoor MMA facility! You did an awesome job Shaun. I like the back leg sweep, kind of reminds me of Cung Le and Cyborg. I know Cyborg used to do a spinning back leg sweep that came with a lot of heat. This was a good sparring session.
