  5. I just stared learning Vue. So far it seems pretty straightforward. I’ve been hearing the job market is not as good as it is for React.

  6. Exactly! I switched over from social work to web development. If you look at the requirements for some of these jobs it is crazy. Last month alone I was able to find 3 clients for static websites.

  7. James McKee exactly! I charged the clients $600 per static website. Each one took me about 7 hours give or take. $1800 dollars in 21 hours from home, can’t complain. I guess I’m just going to go the freelance route.

  9. It’s hard to compete with people willing to do it for $5. So far this month I’ve been lucky to find 2 clients that want small static websites. Thanks to word of mouth from a previous client. Your best bet is to find your own clients.

  11. Peter Mortensen The clients have have done work for have been referred to me by people I know. For example, one guy I did a website for has gotten me 2 clients. As of right now I have no clients.

  12. James McKee Yes unfortunately devs are getting cheaper. I live in Los Angeles so there is a lot of freelance work but I just have to knock on doors.

  13. Stefan Mischook do you have a course that has to do with the shopping cart and ordering things? I’ve noticed a lot of restaurants are going that route.

  18. Tbagstealer Here in the U.S senators Lee of Utah and Rubio of Florida have been trying to get Trump to bring in more foreign programmers. The sad part bout this is that there are plenty of Americans that can’t fine jobs

  21. Michał Markiewicz I recently started getting into web development. The problem in the U.S is that the field is starting to get really saturated. I’m currently freelancing but mostly doing websites for small businesses. Most of my clients so far have been introduced to me by another client.
