@MsPinkwolf Seemed pretty snarky to me, anyway... So "Stop oil when we have workable, substitute technologies in place" would be a more sensible group, you think? Then we have reached a middle ground. But again, without China massively reversing its industrial policy and cutting carbon emissions in a way that would simply not be possible, without nuking them off the map, anything we do in this country would be utterly pointless. So, if you really believe there's a climate emergency and doom and gloom on the horizon due to carbon emissions, I really don't understand why you all seem to want to give the actual culprits a pass? This group, if it really wanted to address CO2 emissions, should be called "Just Stop China" and should be gluing itself to the Chinese Embassy. Targeting the British people, M25, art exhibitions etc, is meaningless. If the UK didn't exist tomorrow, that would remove just less than 1% of global emissions, it wouldn't make the slightest difference.

@MsPinkwolf Address the point, don't get over emotional again. If the UK becomes net zero tomorrow, what difference will that make to global emissions?
Are you suggestion we collapse our economy, push millions into poverty, kill off the elderly, as a giant virtue signal?
Without snarky insults or losing control of your emotions, what do you suggest we do in the UK, that will make a difference to global CO2 emissions, while the Chinese build at least one coal fired power station a week, and who have emitted more carbon in the last 8 years, than we have since the Industrial Revolution?

@MsPinkwolf You see?
If you and I were in a sinking boat, with two holes in the hull, a tiny one and a very big one. You are very concerned I plug the tiny hole, while you have nothing to say about the vast flow of water through the huge hole.
I can plug the tiny hole, but the ship will sink as fast, while you refuse to address the huge hole and get defensive when I even mention it.
That's why this "climate activism" is pointless. It doesn't seem to be about helping the environment at all. Those who are apparently concerned about carbon emissions and repeat alarmist slogans such as "there's not much time left" actually refuse to address the real problem. They deny the real problem, while calling those who notice it "deniers".
It all seems like watermelon communism to me. Anyone that concerned about CO2 emissions, would be hysterical about Chinese emissions. Anyone defending, deflecting from, or ignoring Chinese emissions, can't be concerned about the environment, or they are either misled or lying.
