The poverty that Sturgeon will bring to Scotland will kill far more than the virus. You can bet there'll be no border for English bail-out money then.

@scottbrand888 Oil? In a world with no demand? Whiskey, tartan cloth, heroin? Scotland is already bankrupt, your money is being printed off in the Bank of ENGLAND and will be paid for by years of English taxes. Remember the "ark of prosperity", "Celtic Tiger"? Delusions of grandeur.

@levyroth I'm not against it. Like a large proportion of English, it would be fine for me if you went. I'm a Brexiteer, not a hypocrite, self-governance for all if that's the democratic will. Just don't expect your neighbours to pick up the bill if the EU can't keep your living standards up like we do.

@pauleomac Keep an eye what happens in the next 6 weeks when stimulus is pulled. A virus that doesn't affect 99% of the population will be far less deadly than the poverty bought about by Sturgeon's political game playing and no doubt I will be buying that dram for you, as with free tuition and all the rest of the perks we donate to our charity case in the north. Pity there's no border for our money.

No but we paid for the furlough scheme in Scotland, playing dumb doesn't mean you're right. I do volunteer already and you were trying to be a smart-a$$ and failed and by all means, leave the UK and beg from the German table instead. If there were a vote in England, the public would merrily kick you out to join the "ark of prosperity" we had to bail out in 2008. Don't forget to refuse any money collected in England after it all starts 6 weeks and tell your friends and family to do the same.

@johnogroin5974 I'm 100% in agreement with you. Freedom and democracy comes first. Good luck to the Scots if they want to be free from our shackles (support). The average Englishman would kick them once the SNP got a majority in a Parliament they shouldn't even have...
