@mj1_5676 No. BJP was also socialist till 1991, because everyone thought that is better idea. They opposed globalisation in the past, with their Swadeshi mindset. BJP also opposed nuclear deal with America. So, your claim of following America isn't right. But BJP is flexible, whereas Congress is not. Congress was also becoming flexible, when a Gandhi was not heading the party. Then Rahul and his socialist sychophants undermined Manmohan Singh and brought all khatakhat policies during UPA with all the MNREGA cash leaking out which caused 10% inflation. And that's why they lost. Modi was the true capitalist under BJP, buy now he is chickening out.
