  2.  @mmddssi  She has also done M.Phil in Economics. And economists are divided on ideological grounds - leftist vs rightists. Her husband is leftist. Left wingers believe in khatakhat cash to everyone to boost demand, in the hope that demand will create jobs. But it inevitably causes inflation. People will feel happy with all the cash, but purchasing power is eroded and they are poor in reality. Right-wingers believe in supporting businesses to increase production and jobs. This makes businesses richer, but doesn't cause inflation. Poor don't get immediate money. So, they feel poorer because they have less cash. But purchasing power is not eroded. Poor get the same deal in both cases. But in globalised world, raising demand in one country will not create jobs in same country. Jobs will be created in China, where all the factories are. So, India needs right-wing policies to help Indian businesses to grow, not Chinese.
