Comments by "Raju" (@rajx7120) on "Adani Green Energy: Sri Lanka ‘Revokes’ 500MW Wind Power Project Deal" video.
People trying to hate on Adani, don't understand that the deal will go to China, which will give expensive loan, like Pakistan is suffering in CPEC.

@hellobrother12www Something is expensive, only when there is a shortage. 😂😂😂. That's the basic economics of demand and supply. Nothing comes for free.

@hellobrother12www First get some electricity. Without that, even your jails will not function.

@shahanweerakoon958 Adani doesn't need to bribe anyone. They are established players and not desperate for projects. You take it or leave it. The current controversy is due to what happened in the US, unrelated to Sti Lanka. There has been systematic targetting of Adani group by geopolitical forces. But you have so quickly forgotten the Chinese organic fertilizer deal between Rajapaksa and Chinese. You always have option to go for more expensive Chinese companies, who have taken your Hambantota port on 99 year lease. Adani is an opportunity for Sri Lanka to balance China, and negotiate on the debt. So, who is losing. You can easily see.

@Wisegrunt India is a huge country. So, 99.2% is awesome. But electrification doesn't mean, availability. Otherwise, why is power infrastructure deal is being talked about.

@shahanweerakoon958 Please worry about Chinese exploitation. You are still paying heavy interest to China. It is India which gave you 1 billion dollar assistance to buy food and medicines. Adani only charges market prices without subsidy. It is the govt's job to cut taxes and make things affordable.

@shahanweerakoon958 If you get a better deal, good for you. But this corruption is a silly excuse.

@adpmunisrijayawardhanapura7779 India buys electricity from Nepal and Bhutan as a form of aid to these countries. It's a diplomatic favour. Otherwise, India became self-sufficient in electricity in 2016 itself.

@adpmunisrijayawardhanapura7779 India does have environment policy. We have achieved fastest progress in climate change goals promised at COP summits. Share of renewables is actually increasing the fastest in India.

@adpmunisrijayawardhanapura7779 If you have SL bidders, well and good. That's your choice. It's the excuse given to reject Adani that, makes me suspicious. In the past, your govts have taken decisions under the influence of China.

@adpmunisrijayawardhanapura7779 India also has potential for hydropower, on it's own. And nuclear energy is the big thing going on. We don't need Nepal's electricity to diversify. Still we buy as a favour.
