Comments by "Raju" (@rajx7120) on "India Needs To Create LOTS Of Jobs In A Short Time: IMF's Gita Gopinath At Delhi School Of Economics" video.
We need to build more cities. Move people to smaller cities. And connect all with internet to do remote work. All development happening in Mumbai, Bengaluru only.

What is true in your company, may not be true for all companies. Aome skills are having oversupply, and others having shortage.

And what jobs will "honest" leaders give you? Politicians cannot give you jobs. Understand that ! Only a good business environment can.
2
Adani Ambani also created jobs - direct and indirect, for the profit they got.
2
@HK-fb8bo Lol! Billionaires don't keep money in the bank. That shiws you nothing about them. Their wealth cones from the value of the company. Their growth represents growth of the company and that also includes job creation.

Competetiveness matters, if we want to become an export power. Big companies do that.

@vineeshhere Then those small caps, will eventually become large caps. Sometimes, even dethrone the current giants. And jobs will not grow linearly, in that company, when that happens. They will produce less jobs for that capital. But they will create jobs in other sectors, that use their services. Don't advocate for inefficiency for the sake of employment. What we should ask for is, better work-life balance as technology improves efficiency.

@vineeshhere Who spoke about feeding debt to giants? No such thing is happening. At the same time, no special support is needed for MSMEs, otherwise they will remain dwarves forever, just to get that support.

Sell your farmland to some manufacturing company, and invest the cash you get into stocks of that company. That will go a long way in creating jobs, than mindless rice farming in Punjab.

Opposition opposes all reforms needed for job creation.

@giokensiga673 Firstly 10₹ salary is wrong. They create better salary jobs than that of a farm labourer, which 45% of the country is stuck in. Govt is spending most of the money in buying farm produce from big farmers, who capture majority of the MSP procurement. These big farmers are the ones for whom majority low-paid farm labourers work for and they also don't pay any taxes.

@giokensiga673 And annual profits of Reliance is only 37,000 crore, if you bother to Google, instead of spreading your WhatsApp university cooked up data. Whereas, govt spends 4 lakh crore rupees on farm and food subsidies. And as per study done by agricultural economist Ashok Gulati, just by reducing wastage, Govt could save 90,000 crore.

@Theackermans121 There are many companies that are unknown in terms of brand value, but they create far more jobs in the economy, than so-called brands. Afaik, Elon Musk has no market in India, for his overpriced cars. Tata and Mahindra beat him in India, anyday.
1
@Theackermans121 Well, in that case, Ambanis are also exporting refined petroleum to the whole world and bringing money. What's your point?
1
@Theackermans121 Ambani and Adani don't earn more than founders of Samsung. Having a brand is independent of what they earn.
1
@Theackermans121 Adani is focused on infra, where R&D is not needed. Ambani has many verticals like Reliance Life Sciences etc which do R&D. Petrochemicals and Retail don't need any new R&D. Maybe they are improving the processes incrementally that don't make news like Apple or Samsung. Retail R&D focus on efficiency of supply-chains. It all depends on the business. Even Walmart or Amazon don't do the type of R&D you are talking about. Apples to oranges comparison, it becomes.
1
@Theackermans121 Everyone doesn't need to go in tech. And there are other sectors in the economy too, that require attention. Otger sectors can use tech, to create goid products.
