  6.  @Deshbhakt115  Debt to GDP ratio is a better statistic. It was 56% till 2020. It increased to 89% in 2021. Because govt borrowed for Gati Shakti Master plan for logistics and infra. This was done to help recovery from pandemic. And that's how we got fastest recovery in the world, with greater than 6% growth for next 3 years. Now, the debt-to-GDP ratio has come down to 82% and will keep declining, because govt has been constantly reducing fiscal deficit.
