  1. We should have 2 elections or maybe 3 elections. Like combine all state elections at half-way b/w national elections, or 2 sets of state elections, at one-third of the tenure. Then we can have best of both worlds. Having said that, it is not about 600 crore being saved. Elections stall development projects, and cumulatively over the year have an opportunity cost of lost development.
