  1. Give half MSP as a per hectare income support, and reduce post-harvest MSP by half. That will solve debt problem, and people might grow less, fetching better prices.

  2.  @rajeshpatel9590  If farmer doesn't grow anything, then govt will not use electricity and fertilizers, saving govt subsidy. And govt can pay the subsidy for whatever he used, at time of sales, so that farmer will use them judiciously.
