  1. I think petrol taxes hurt more. It would be good to gradually reduce them. And govt needs to reduce wastage in govt spending. A big example being the farm sector. Prof Ashok Gulati, who supports the farm laws, also suggested many ideas that could save 1 lakh crore in the current subsidy regime.

  2. ​​ @Pshaurk Rich countries like US, with dollar as reserve currency can print as much as they can. Not India. US doesn't face inflation> 2% and had to face 8-9%. India normally faces 4.5% and was facing 7.7% max.
