  1. Manmohan Singh just threw money at Vajpayee's reforms to show short-term growth. Doing actual reforms would not have given that short-term 9% growth that Congress supporters keep crowing about. The 10% inflation that accompanied exposed the hollowness of UPA's performance.

  2. The main criticism of Modi, is that he oppose GST when in opposition. But implemented it when in power. While this is politically valid point, the UPA should be faulted for not implementing these reforms. And UPA implemented that disastrous retrospective taxation.
