You are extrapolating Tamil Nadu to whole country. That is a fallacy. TN built infrastructure in yesteryears, while North India was seeing neglect and instability. So, with infra needs already met, TN may do well with demand, but ither states need infra focus and supply side focus. So, let others also grow, please.

@mohamedhabib8460 What is your problem with rich? Becoming rich is not bad. And you don't seem to know difference between rich and corporate. When the corporate grows rich, then it invests and creates more jobs. Do you think, they will be stupid, to keep money idle in the bank? Corporate create wealth by creating jobs. Their wealth is the valuation of the economic engine they create. Now, coming to rich, there is nothing wrong with someone growing rich. A rich guy pays more taxes, and spends on big ticket items, whose production again creates jobs.

@mohamedhabib8460 Depletion of forex in current times is unavoidable, due to rising crude oil prices. While you are talking of trade deficit, I am sure you are aware that exports have been rising too. And this is due to the PLI schemes. Now, Modi government has also been focusing on renewable energy rapidly. This should help reduce crude oil imports. On the export side, labour reforms should help. Focus on semiconductor manufacturing should also help. See, you can't make someone rich by simply giving them money. You have to increase productivity, of every person to make them rich. If rich person is growing richer, it means more productive person is producing more than a less productive person. So, you should focus on turning a less productive person into a more productive person.

@rookiej5587 In our parents time, there was less population and less competition for them. Between then and now, population has doubled. Yet, we are talking about redistribution and demand side. We need supply side growth to match the population growth.

@mohamedhabib8460 Who said we are not increasing exports? Are you even reading my reply? Our total exports crossed 600 billion last year. Out of that service exports crossed 250 billion. How do you think this happened? By demand side measures? No. By giving incentives to the job creators. And they ARE focusing on UP and Bihar. They are NOT fiddling their thumbs, as you seem to think. But everytime, some development happens in UP/Bihar, then south guys like you start crying about tax distribution. Yogi govt in UP, implemented digitalization of school records, and implemted anti-cheating measures to fix corruption that was compromising quality. Reforms are needed. Merely throwing money at a broken system, is like doing the same thing again, and expecting change. It doesn't happen like that !!
