Congress under Kamraj and initial DMK leaders like Annadurai, built infrastructure and lobbied for manufacturing industries and built good roads back before 1970s. That is what yielding results. North is getting good infrastructure only now. Dravidian reservations and freebies came much later.

  10. ​ @pujasen702 What resources are you talking about? After 1991, most of the wealth is newly created. Wealth has to be created before distributing. Instead of madly giving out freebies, focus should be on building capability among backward castes by improving education and healthcare. And no more reservations are not the solution. Existing reservations itself is not working because creamy layer captures all of them. Creamy layer exclusion and improving schools is needed. Not more reservations.

  11.  @pujasen702  Absolute money given to Healthcare has actually increased in current budget, from 80 thousand crore to 90 thousand crore. Overall percentage might have dropped, because overall expenditure itself has increased a lot, from 42 lakh crore to 48 lakh crore. But you should ask where does majority spending go. And those 2 states got 41,000 crore, when all states got around 93K crore. Majority expenses are in infrastructure, defence, farm subsidies, govt salaries, Central schemes and interest repayments. Even railways got more money, this time, highest ever. So, decide where should we cut, to fund healthcare. Infra is necessary, to reduce logistics cost.

Heaven and hell are not really important concepts of afterlife in Hinduism, except for certain dualistic Vaishnava sect, which finds mention in Garud puran. But that is not important for Advaita, the major polytheistic atarnd that unites everyone Everyone is reborn again, until your karma is clean. Showing Kauravas in heaven, was a test for Yudhishthira. And Yudhishthir chose to be in hell with his kin, instead. And he passed the test by making that choice. And ultimately, they attained moksha after suffering for any bad karma, on the Himalayan path to heaven.

  17.  @partha1819  Where is the money for education? When all money spent on subsidies and freebies, then we are just making people sit at home, and enjoy? Why complain about jobs? Farmer's don't pay any taxes. And politicians own third-rate college and making money through donations. And same politicians people vote for a few freebies. Then that's what you get! And any manufacturing will always create more jobs than service sector. Service jobs are already getting automated by Chatbots and ChatGPT. There is still time, to grab whatever is left of manufacturing.
