  5. Dude. Change the crops you are growing. With water problem, you still grow rice, which uses so much water. Historically, rice was not even grown in Punjab. Ragi, jowar, bajra was grown other than wheat. You are growing rice only because you want to make easy money from Central MSP procurement. Whole country's tax is used to pay for MSP. This is your greed at fault. Change the crop, to something which doesn't consume water.

  14. The problem with industry in Punjab is that cost of electricity to industry is too high, to compensate for subsidy given to farmers. Also, because of free electricity, the state takes up debt to pay for that. As a result, discoms are in debt, and they do load-shedding to save cost. So, how will industry make progress.
