  1. ​ @TheGreatVivek7 Yes. Their population percentage has dropped from more than 60% in 1970s to 51% in 2024. They are restricted to living in 9% area of Manipur, while Nagas and Kukis can live in whole of Manipur. And more and more tribals from neighbouring places like Myanmar, are crowding into even that 9% area.

  2. Meitei should be allowed to live in all parts of Manipur, not restricted to 9% land. I don't think ST status be given, but land restrictions should be removed. Illegal Chin immigrants need to removed and sent back to Myanmar.
