@JomJib9120 What is 100% true? That there is debate in whether Sikh can wear turban in Gurudwaras? Can you show one example of that? Sikhs actually go to temples wearing turban, and Hindus also wear kadas. Either Rahul Gandhi was smoking weed, ot he was trying to pander to Khalistani elements in US, to embolden them to cause trouble and thereby embarassment to Modi govt.

So, you think, he was being thoughtful, when he said that Sikhs are not being allowed to wear turbans and kadas in gurudwaras? Are you aware that, Sikhs even go to Hindu temples, wearing turbans? And even Hindus wear kadas? Rahul was trying to gain sympathy from Khalistani elements in USA, and embolden them to create trouble, as they have done in past, by attacking Indian embassies. Don't try yo defend the indefensible, just because you hate Modi. Kapil Komireddi is as much as a Modi hater, you will find. It shows that liberals are aghast at Rahul Gandhi.

@VincentPaul-jh5zt And what has Rahul Gandhi been in life? He hasn't even sold tea. Straight away he wanted to become PM. And after 10 years, he has manged to become LoP, and he is thinking of himself as PM. He is nothing but a dynast !

@VincentPaul-jh5zt Competency is important. Is Rahul competent by any metric? He had one chance to prove anything, by showing progress in Amethi, in the past. There is a scheme were MPs adopt villages. Go check Modi's adopted villages in Varanasi and Rahul's adopted ones. ThePrint did an episode on this.

@JomJib9120 RSS doesn't preach hate against any religion. Least of all against Sikhs. RSS is unfairly blamed by Congress ecosystem for every ridiculous thing. I still remember that, Congress tried to blame 26/11 attack on RSS. If Ajmal Kasab had not been caught alive, then this propaganda would have succeeded because terrorists were deliberately made to wear red coloured Hindu rakhsha threads, to make it appear they were Hindus. Rahul Gandhi is an outright liar. He wants to create artificial divide between Hindus and Sikhs. He is spreading hatred by promoting artificial victimhood. Before that Sam Pitroda said North East people are from China, South Indians are from Africa, and North Indian from Afghanistan. These are real divisive statements. We are not fooled by this.

@jinoyjacob7117 I don't think Rahul is integrating any of the diverse peoples of India. That is the biggest delusion ever, and probably he too is deluded. Caste census and jitni abadi utna haq is not going to unite anyone. It will divide by creating animosity between people of every caste. Do you believe in the idea of merit and hardwork, and equality of opportunity or do you believe in equality of outcome, where you appoint people for the heck of it, by caste, without focusing on improving education, and talking of wealth redistribution? This will create massive brain drain from the country too. If at all, Indians have only gotten united over the last 10 years. Rahul is not trending high at all. BJP and Congress vote share is constant. It's just that opposition votes got united through good seat sharing. This was in response to BJP voter's unity, which is 36%. In previous election, opposition voters voted for their own caste based parties, as they didn't expect BJP supporters unity, and therefore got divided. The RSS and Sangh parivar have been maligned and unfairly blamed for random things, while jihadi groups were running amok. You can't unite people by saying mohabbat ki dukaan. You have to create policies that create equality of opportunity. Maybe, you also think, BJP is responsible for the situation in Manipur. But do you know, there were clashes between Nagas, Meiteis and Kukis, even before BJP, and Congress had imposed AFSPA. One high court judgement on reservations, caused the civil war. The solution is, removal of legal restrictions that are put on Meiteis, that force 50% population to live in 9% area. And you can't expect good Hindu Muslim relations, if one religion keeps liberalizing and other has rise in radicals, and ask for hijab for girls in schools. Hindus are not asking for old practices. We need Uniform Civil Code. Just like Hindi Code Bills united all Hindus, UCC will unite Hindus, Muslims and Christians, by creating legal sense of equality.

@jinoyjacob7117 Regarding protests, while I support wrestler's protest, I don't support farmer protest. Farm sector need reforms. There is lot of wastage and supply chain is broken. MSP is not a solution. It is a problem. Those protests were done by landlords with vested interests, who are opposing crop diversification. And crony capitalism is a myth. Bad loans were given to cronies during UPA. And loan write-off is not same as loan waiver The loans are not waived off. And we need to focus in manufacturing. Which Rahul and Raghuram Rajan oppose. Service sector is never going to create many jobs. And freebies can't continue forever.

@xxyz2023 Kapil Komireddi just disagreed with that, in this interview. And people are not fools to believe that Sikh are being prevented from wearing turbans, and that too saying this in a place where Khalistanis are active. People aren't sleeping.

While Mr Komireddi says, Rahul Gandhi's statements are despicable and insulting to Sikhs, he misses on, how it is also defamatory against Hindus and creates problems for Hindu diaspora. Westerners are already misinformed about Hinduism and this guy, is portraying as if the average Hindu is bigoted towards Sikhs. Ground reality is Sikhs are allowed to wear turbans inside Hindu temples, and even Hindus wear kada. Because half of the things in Sikhism is borrowed from Hinduism. In light of this fact, Rahul Gandhi should also apologize to Hindus actually. It also shows, he knows nothing about life in India. He just dropped in, from abroad to join politics, and saying anything he likes.
