  1. No. BJP retained it's voteshare. Opposition unity worked and their votes were not split. BJP needs to expand its voter base.

  2. BJP has maintained it's vote share. Opposition unity was better. Vote split did not happen. BJP failed to expand its footprint.A good way, was to have smaller parties that could act as buffer, but BJP has been trying to eat up all parties, which has backfired.
