  1. First we should get rid of MRP. If every shopkeeper could set their own prices, then govt would not need to set tax for each item.

  2. We should get rid of MRP, in order to simplify GST. Then instead of govt, deciding tax rate for each item, the shopkeepers would set prices based on demand and supply. And then govt would earn tax accordingly.
