The point to ponder about is, whether a burning of a book, is a valid reason to take out protest rallies and riot. Speaks more about the mentality of the protestors.

@mohammadaffan2404 Lol! Nothing will happen if you burn Gita outside a Hindu locality. We will think that person is mad, and send him to mental hospital. We are not like you. The message of the Gita, is more important than the paper and the cardboard, that carries it. The very message of the Gita is that, the Atma is immortal, whereas the body is perishable. The content is like the Atma, and the paper is the body. That's what Lord Krishna said, don't grieve over the temporary body. That is a very important concept in teaching emotional maturity.

@zaxxar4133 Burning the Gita, doesn't do anything at all. As long you bought your own copy and burnt it. These days, soft copies are available. So, no possibility of burning at all. As afar as abusing Lord Ram is concerned, it exposes the mentality of the abuser. Why would anyone try to compete with such a person?

@sravaniyadavalli1359 Have u ever seen Hindus protesting against burning of Manusmriti? You never will. The content matters more than the physical copy. People who are agitated by burning of a physical copy, value the physical copy more than the contents. Though I am not impressed by the content at all. And surely, the content doesn't teach it's followers, any emotional maturity.

@mohammadaffan2404 Pehle Gita ki baat kar rhe the. Ab gaay pe aa gaye. Agar tumhe gaay ke hatya pe maarna galat lagta hai, toh quran ke jalane pe riots ko bhi galat bolna chahiye. 2-3 incidents ko uchaal ke zabardasti ka news bana dete ho. Even Modi condemned lynching. So, stop the whataboutery. But quran jalane ke afwah pe jo pura shahar jalate ho, usko kabhi galat mat bolna. Yeh tumhaari hypocrisy hai.
