  1. They are farmer only. But misguided farmers. Farmers destroying their own water table by growing excess rice and wheat. BJP should make the right statements, not stupid ones like these. Otherwise, it will harm country, if reforms get stalled due to self-goals like these. What BJP should do is give power of setting MSP to the states, and let them sell the produce too. When states go bankrupt, economic emergency should be applied to such states. Punjab is already having 45% debt and now facing electricity crisis, as farmers waste so much electricity on water pumps to grow rice.
