I don't see any problem with calling Hindutva as a political ideology. I see it as an ideology of Hindus not having to be apologetic about being Hindu. And a resistance against pseudo-secularism. Apart from that I don't see any idea of theocracy, nor do I support the same.

@Harry-cj8nq Accepting terrorist attacks on Diwali, and Holi, and Independence day, is a true Hindu according to you? Accepting Bengal post-poll violence, where people have fled 700 villages is being a good Hindu? Worry about rapes of nuns in churches, first. Why are we not talking of Bishop Franco Mullakal? Why is the church defending him? Is that not "Hindustan" now and not something to be ashamed of, as Swara Bhaskar said so, in Asifa rape case? Will Vir das talk about him? The hypocrisy is what ticks of people.

@rohitsinghsharma5012 Being American does not equate to Christianity. Since, CEO of Alphabet Co (that operates YouTube) is a Hindu, therefore, going by your logic, there should be no problem.

What is the problem with working with Western framework of secularism? The issue is with the hypocritical implementation of it. And sorry, don't experiment with third way between capitalism and socialism. You will end up in a mess. Capitalism is about private property rights. We have entrepreneurial ability to work through this. And along with this we can practice our beliefs too.

@arjavgarg5801 Agreed. But that doesn't mean secularism as a principle is invalid. Secularism is violated when you have separate civil laws for different religions, and only temples are controlled by govt, while mosques and churches have autonomy.

@Harry-cj8nq The original meaning of the word Hindu is Indian only. Hindus never called themselves as Hindus. All Indians should understand their Indianness irrespective of what god they worship.

@Harry-cj8nq All rapes are condemned but they are politicized if that happens in a BJP ruled state, and called misinformation when in a non-BJP ruled state. TMC cadres even attacked CPM and Congress supporters, and Aishe Ghosh tweeted as to why they are attacking friendly parties. That shows it is not a fake narrative. No churches were attacked under BJP rule. But earlier Deendar Anjuman a Islamic terror group attacked churches, to sho as if Hindus were attacking. This is similar to how Kasab of 26/11 attacks was made to wear a Hindu raksha thread, as if it was Hindu terrorism, but thankfully he was caught.
