  1. I am a BJP supporter, and I have to admit BJP deserves to be bashed for this. And this is because State govts have limited options in raising revenue. Centre should do things like cutting Central excise duty on petrol. So, that States can raise money by increasing the State petrol taxes. And Centre will have to cut expenditure like MSP procurement by handing over MSP to the states. UP will benefit as they can procure so much locally. Meanwhile, Punjab will suffer because they are biggest beneficiary of MSP, and they will have to diversify their crops, and focus on industry.
