@realtalk8665 You can't create energy if the football is boring. Liverpool still played far more exciting football in 19/20 and they certainly did in the CL games when we reached finals. Slot has been lucky, something Klopp never had was luck, if we do anything it will because other teams lose key players (which Arsenal and MC have) or VAR/ refs don't screw us over, we lost two titles by a point and it was a miracle clearance and refs that cost us.

@realtalk8665 The home crowd won't make things happen, the football is dull. This is a different crowd to 2000-2010, it's full of tourists now. Klopp's style of football was exhilarating, the fans got spoilt. I remember being sat there when even conceding a goal had fans leaving early as it was so rare under Klopp at that point. While we're winning no one will really care, against Forest the ground was half empty before the 90 mins was up. Upper Anfield Road is half empty by 85 mins no matter what the score is. It has got worse this season.

While we're winning this style of football will be tolerated, but I saw enough against Forest to see it won't be once more points are dropped. Last season Klopp's team did better in these same fixtures, and were playing far more exciting football. There is no buzz about this style of play, you don't go to the ground feeling like you did under Klopp. People can whine about early goals being conceded but 2 defeats at Anfield in the league in 7 years (with fans in) won't be beaten by Slot. He has been very lucky getting out of form and suspension hit teams too.

We have conceded the first goal 3 times under Slot against poor opposition. Fortunate that wasn't 5 times but for close offsides. Klopp got more points and far more goals from these same games last season. Would rather be entertained and win than be bored and win.

Liverpool finished seasons very strongly most of the time, only MC have a better record over the last 6 years in the last few games.

@castropassion667 I am shocked at how empty the upper Anfield Road stand is long before the end of games now. A lot of these fans had been on the season ticket waiting list for many years so you'd think they'd make more effort. I think with no Klopp fist pumps to wait for people are getting off earlier. I must admit I leave the second the final whistle goes now, but at least I do watch the whole game.
