Sounds like a hysterectomy with Catherine. My work colleague was meant to have a less invasive one (won't go into detail) but in the end they had to operate and open her up. Then she caught a serious infection and she had to be on a drip and oxygen. Was in hospital for a month. It might explain why she would need a few months to recuperate. If they're saying it isn't cancer then the only other thing could think would be a benign tumour.

Piers is being dramatic. There's no indication it's 'very serious' at all. Sounds like radiotherapy rather than chemo too from what the reports have been saying. Harry was there for 45 mins then left, if he thought it was very serious he would have stayed longer am sure despite the rift. Kate's stomach problem is the big mystery that seemingly was serious.
