  1. Sounds like a hysterectomy with Catherine. My work colleague was meant to have a less invasive one (won't go into detail) but in the end they had to operate and open her up. Then she caught a serious infection and she had to be on a drip and oxygen. Was in hospital for a month. It might explain why she would need a few months to recuperate. If they're saying it isn't cancer then the only other thing could think would be a benign tumour.
