I don't want to get too in depth but there was the establishment's cover up of Hillsborough, the fact other fans of English clubs have mocked our fans about that tragedy (why would we want to stand side by side with them?), the fact some players said they hated the city while still in England squads, the fact southern born or based players got preferential treatment. We kind of detach ourselves from England and I think it suits everyone to be honest.

Shilton ahead of Clemence, Sansom ahead of Kennedy, Pearce taking the captaincy off Gerrard and giving it to Scott Parker 🤯Southgate taking it off Henderson for Kane, and this was when Henderson was winning everything at Liverpool. Like I say each to their own, we are just different here, which a lot of people seem triggered by!
