The Super League proposal was just that though. It didn't happen. Everton breached rules that were set in stone and they're fortunate it has taken until now to hit them, had it been last season they'd have been relegated. They won't go down as the promoted teams are weak this season, plus the likes of Fulham are worse. I'd take this punishment and move on if I were them, a transfer embargo would probably be worse. I agree about MC though, the teams who have finished 2nd this past few years deserve the titles should they be found guilty but not much joy to be had when they couldn't celebrate.

 StephenGgf-gb9dc They won't go down no chance. They're in good form and way better than the promoted teams or Fulham. I think they'll finish comfortably compared to the last 2 seasons.

 @Robert-ks5ix Exactly. And those teams wanted out of the Champions League anyway so it wasn't even a Premier League issue.

@ronbennett1166 Maybe but fact is it didn't happen and it was them wanting out of the champions league anyway. Everton have been treated harshly but they did break rules that were set in stone. It will be very interesting to see what happens to City and Chelsea though, the PL need to punish them accordingly even if it means them going down a few divisions.
