Upsides to eating meat: vitamin B12(literally keeps you alive) only found on decaying animal flesh/product(or pill form nowadays), most other B vitamins, more protein, iron, and with greens more fiber intake so you have a stable healthy natural diet. One without the other isnt natural. Our teeth show Humans are omnivores.
Veganism is extremely new starting in the 40's, while vegetarianism is also fairly new only being 2000 years old(give or take) out of humans 200,000+ thousand years on this planet.
Humans are omnivores, to only eat meat is bad, just like only eating plant based is also bad, we need a balanced diet. red meat, white meat, and plant based foods.
But to each their own as we have pills nowadays to be able to sustain things like B12 a plant based diet can not give, you have all the right as its your body.
That being said, i do feel bad for animals that need to die to fuel the world and wish to make it as humane and fast as possible.

Straight from a pro vegan site, you need to supplement it. Via pill, soy milk, cereal, anything with added b12. This isnt my opinion but fact. Im fine with people being vegan, but its not healthy.
"Very low B12 intakes can cause anemia and nervous system damage. The only reliable vegan sources of B12 are foods fortified with B12 (including some plant milks, some soy products and some breakfast cereals) and B12 supplements. Vitamin B12, whether in supplements, fortified foods, or animal products, comes from micro-organisms. Most vegans consume enough B12 to avoid anemia and nervous system damage, but many do not get enough to minimize potential risk of heart disease or pregnancy complications."

Adam Shutt Their is a physical withdrawal... Most heavy users if they quit cold turkey have a hard time sleeping, eating, become moody, vomiting, nausea, etc, more or less like caffeine withdrawal... You are lying to yourself otherwise. Your endocannabnoid system shuts down and has to rejump start itself sinceit has been overloaded with THC, just like how steriods work on testicles, same thing, it shuts the system down. You might also want to look up cannabis hyperemesis syndrome, which can land you in the ER.... if you think cannabis has no phyiscial effect on the body...

If you are a heavy user(daily smoker couple grams a day, or if wax at least a gram a day) and say you quite cold turkey and didnt suffer from irritability, insomnia, lack of appetite, cold sweats, clamy hands, nausea, etc to say you suffered through none of that you are a bold face liar.Everything has a negative side effect.Cannabis is minimal but it still has its negative side effects. As a said before Cannabis reacts to the body like steriods, it shuts down your natural endocannabnoid system as you overload it when smoking, same thing with steriods and testicles, you stop producing natural testosterone, your balls shrink, because you overload your body. So when you stop cold turkey your body reacts to that since you arent naturally producing the correct chemical mixture in your brain. It needs to jump start itself and takes about a week. Each person varies so dont take that week to heart as some people will feel fine after 3 days other a week and a half. All depends how much you smoke, and how much is stored in your fat cells(hence why you sweat a lot when you dont smoke your body is burning off the fat to get high). I grow and make BHO for local collectives. I work around the science of Cannabis. If you wish to continue i have no problem.
