The Soviet and US armies would fair evenly against each other it be decided boots on the ground

@Tom_Cruise_Missile The Iraqis would lose against the US and Soviets obviously didn't even stand a chance against them hell they couldn't even beat the Iranians in the Iran Iraq war, Nato VS Warsaw pat itd be a stalemate militarily. The US Air force could win small battles against the Soviet Air force but in the end it wouldn't make a difference in large battles. That's my point

@Crissy_the_wonder on the other hand if Ukraine was a Nato member is conquered by Russia then it would have an impact on Nato it could show Nato can't protect all its members it certainly can't realistically protect Ukraine the Baltic states from Russia or any former Soviet Republics theyed be at the mercy of Russia, Nato can't respond quick enough especially America cuz its 3,000 miles away so American reinforcements in Europe would take months the Russians would need to grab as much territory as it possibly could before American reinforcements arrive chances are Europe is gonna want a deal with the Russian Federation cuz they can get cheap resources and other things so the war might end in a cease fire
