Declining in a gesture of goodwill.

@suportbghelp4938 The difference is Japan is rich and their country isn't a complete sewer.

@Imaxxd22 Stalin disagreed with you. "I want to tell you what, from the Russian point of view, the president and the United States have done for victory in this war. The most important things in this war are the machines.... The United States is a country of machines. Without the machines we received through Lend-Lease, we would have lost the war." Nikita Khrushchev offered the same opinion. "If the United States had not helped us, we would not have won the war. One-on-one against Germany, we would not have withstood its onslaught and would have lost the war."
23
@Imaxxd22 Zhukov also disagreed with you. "People say that the allies didn't help us. But it cannot be denied that the Americans sent us materiel without which we could not have formed our reserves or continued the war. The Americans provided vital explosives and gunpowder. And how much steel! Could we really have set up the production of our tanks without American steel? And now they are saying that we had plenty of everything on our own."

@mrsupremegascon Its more like if the US invaded Mexico then after two and a half years of attrition they only captured 18% of Mexico. After that the Mexicans counter invaded and took more territory than the US did in over a year.

@Imaxxd22 Yes I'm sure you think you know better than the leadership of the SSR, but you don't.
13
@vide-yo3336 Europe also has demographic issues, the difference is Europe is rich, Russia isn't.

@Imaxxd22 Feel free to believe whatever makes you feel fuzziest inside. I provide quotes from the leadership of the SSR that directly contradicts what you said and your response is basically 'they didn't mean it bro.' Ok buddy.

@Imaxxd22 The Stalin quote is from the Tehran conference, the Khrushchev quote is from his memoirs and the Zhukov quote is from a conversation he had in 1963. None of this is top secret or difficult to discover. Now please explain how the context somehow validates the scenario's you've invented in your mind. You don't provide anything aside from your own commentary. The statistics shows a different picture according to who? You? The quotes are a far better argument than your own amateurish analysis.

@Imaxxd22 I'm not interpreting anything. I'm telling you what the unambiguous opinions of the civilian and military leadership of the SSR at the time was, and how it directly contradicts the lore you invented in your mind. I'm not sure what part of this is difficult to understand.
4
@Imaxxd22 The civilian and military leadership of the USSR disagree with you, their opinion is worth something. You are a random nobody on youtube, your opinion is worth nothing. Understand?
3
@Imaxxd22 Once again you are inventing scenarios in your head. You can pretend you know better than the leadership of the SSR at the time if you want, just don't expect anyone to take you seriously.
3
@Imaxxd22 Once again more baseless assertions based on your own imagination. Amazing how you are able to mind read the leadership of the SSR in the 40's. You don't know better than them little buddy, it's time to rejoin reality.
3
@Imaxxd22 I literally provided you with the context genius, they are by definition not out of context. Next you'll do some more mind reading and tell me what their motivations and knowledge was based on nothing but your own fantasies.
3
@Imaxxd22 Good job being smart and cunning little buddy. Hopefully one day you stop being delusional.
3
@vide-yo3336 I was responding to a comment about demographics. And yes wealth can play a massive role in mitigating the effets of demographic decline, as can immigration, which exists in Europe much more than Russia.

@zetaforever4953 18% interest rates suggests crippling inflation and such a low unemployment rate indicates a critical labor shortage.

@mrsupremegascon Thanks General. So Russia makes marginal gains taking horrific losses in the process and it's good for Russia. Ukraine walks into Russia and takes hundreds of prisoners, captures loads of equipment and takes more ground than Russia has in a year. Not to mention undermine Putin's authority and embarrass Russia and Its bad for Ukraine, got it.

@thequackashow619 So why is Russia attacking in multiple vectors across the front if they don't want more land?
