Russia can't even take the Donbas, WW3 is a bit of a stretch.

@againstviralmisinformation510 If NATO was involved it would be the most one sided ass whooping since Desert Storm. And Ukraine hasn't spent the past 20 years bragging about being the 'worlds #2 army' Russia's performance has been humiliating no matter how you try to spin it.

He's a drunk so he's probably forgot he's made these threats before.

@Y_O_L_O_11 Imagine being the self proclaimed 'worlds number 2 army' and not being able to even capture the Donbas despite it being a few hours by car from Moscow. And dont get me started on the T-54's and scooby doo vans.

@JohnJohn-dv6je Most of which was held prior to the invasion and most of the rest was lost in the initial shock of the invasion. Ukraine has retaken much more then it's lost since lines were established.

@yaqob3275 There's this thing called weather, Ukraine is a sea of mud. I guess Ukraine could attack down the middle of the road like Russia did in their completely humiliating Vulhedar offensive where they lost 130+ vehicles for no gain.

@bobmorane2082 Ukraine hasn't spent the past 20 years stroking themselves off as the 'worlds #2 army' stalemate is the same as humiliation for Russia. Meanwhile Russia begging Iran and NK for scraps.

@Bushman42069 They had Crimea before the war...

@district5198 There hadn't been an attack on coalition forces in Afghanistan in years, the US left because they gave up on the goal of turning Afghanistan into new Kansas. Taliban had been hiding in caves in the other Stans for years.
3
@bobmorane2082 You consider not being able to take the Donbas in a year and unironically using T-54's and scooby doo vans to be 'doing better'?
3
@district5198 So Russia shouldn't be on the UN security council then? Why did Russia inherit all the USSR's treaties? Why does an ex KGB agent run the country? Russia isn't the USSR but they are their successors. obviously.
2
@OleOlesen-gl9ob Taliban from their hidey hole in Pakistan "you guys better leave or else" Ok dude.
2
@againstviralmisinformation510 What's your point? Ukraine has better friends then Russia? Russia begging Iran and NK for weapons. And sorry some old NATO scraps still isn't a good enough reason for Russia to be doing so poorly. A year in and they still havn't even taken Bahkmut, and its a few hours by car from Moscow. They are now dusting off T-54's and unironically using Scooby Doo vans for logistics. This is complete humiliation for Russia no matter how you try to spin it.

@curtisuwuigbe6343 The Afghan war was over in a couple weeks, there hadn't been an attack on coalition foces in years. The Taliban was hiding in the other Stans. The US thankfully left because they gave up on the inane political agenda of turning Afghanistan into New Idaho or whatever. If after 20 years the ANA weren't able and willing to fight for themselves they never would. If the US wanted to annex Afghanistan they would still be there but they had no interest in that.

@againstviralmisinformation510 Russia is also facing partisan attacks in occupied territory. That's what guerilla warfare is, you chip away and make occupation not worth it.
2
@againstviralmisinformation510 Ah the old 'were not even trying yet' literaly the dumbest argument Russia makes. If that were reallly the case then maybe Russia should send in more of its army then they might have a chance of taking the Donbas.
2
@anchorread68 You know Russia's not the only country with nukes right? One thing we learned from START is that all Russia's ICBM's are sitting in 20 feet of water, Their Nuclear threat is about as credible as their conventional one.
2
@bobmorane2082 What's your point? Ukraine has friends and Russia doesn't? Russia can't even make ball bearings anymore, and all their equipment uses western components.
